"A Casa di Penelope" embodies a new concept of Hotel, a unique space with several rooms where art, atmosphere and hospitality blend together and create a fascinating experience.

Every room is a unique space and is characterized and defined by the details inside: original works of art made of backelite and designed by Giovanni Lamorgese in every bedroom, vintage objects shown in the hall.

The building is located in the Umbertin area, very close to Termini Station, 10 minutes' walk from the main monuments of Rome, such as the Colosseum an the Roman Forum.

The Vatican, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fontain, Piazza Navona are all no more than 15 minutes away from the hotel via public transport.

From motorway: from Grande Raccordo exit n.14, in the direction of Rome centre; continue toward Piazzale delle Province then straight on along Via Catania, then overtake Viale del Policlinico and Viale Castro Pretorio, at the traffic lights turn left and at the first crossing turn right onto Via San Martini della Battaglia, taking you to Piazza Indipendenza; take Via Varese, where you will find us at number 5.

From Fiumicino Airport: shuttle train Leonardo express, nonstop to Termini station will take 30 minutes, cost one way €12 per person OR by taxi in 45 minutes, cost 40 euros.

From Ciampino Airport: shuttle bus OR Terravision nonstop to Termini station will take 30 minutes, cost one way €8 per person and child €4 OR by taxi in 35 minutes, cost 40 euros.

From Termini Station: exit on Via Marsala, cross the street and you will find Via Marghera; then take the third left onto Via Varese, where you will find us at number 5.

Please note that tourists visiting the city of Rome will be requested to pay a Tourist Tax of €3.50 per person per night, for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights. This tax is not included in the price of the room and must be paid directly at reception upon arrival.
