Overview

Catton is a private Estate, owned by the same family for over 600 years. It is ideally situated in the centre of England. The Estate is guided tour only and most tour groups combine their tour with morning coffee, afternoon tea or wine and canapes for an evening tour. The tour takes approximately two hours with a maximum of fifty people.

Opening Times: Tours of the House, Chapel and Gardens, Easter Monday, Monday May Bank Holidays and every Monday in August. These are guided tours and start at 2pm. No prior booking is necessary but admission prices apply. Private group tours can be arranged all year round.

Directions: Leave the A38 at the Alrewas Junction and take the A513 towards Tamworth. Follow this road for 1 mile to the Railway Bridge. Turn left immediately after this railway bridge. Catton Hall is 1.5 miles along this road on the left, shortly after the Lodge House and ‘South Derbyshire’ sign.
