History

Campi Flegrei is an area made up of about 40 ancient volcanoes. In its surroundings there are historical places of special interest such as the Flavian Amphitheatre, the Acropolis of Cuma, the Baths of Baia, the Temple of Serapes. With an area of about 33 hectares, it is a natural oasis that offers the starting point for an interesting walk offering not only the renown volcanic phenomena such as fumaroles, mofettas and mud small volcanoes, but also wooded and Mediterranean vegetation, not to mention some natural, geological, botanical and wildlife wonders.

Car Park is available free of charge. 

The nearest metro station is 10 minutes, the Cumana station (20 minutes), the Solfatara area (10 minutes) and the Flavian Amphitheatre (15 minutes). The port where ferries to Procida and Ischia leave is less than 1.5 Km. On request, free pick-up service (max 4 persons) from Pozzuoli. 

Other Things to Note:

An extra charge will be applied for late check in:  10€ after 8PM; 20€ after midnight. Extra cleanings (with bedding change) is charged with 50€. Loss of keys is charged with 25€. Late check-out (afternoon) is charged with the price of an additonal night.
