Clean and basic student accomodation in a single room with ensuite facilities. Great value for money and close to conference facilities, which encourages lots of academics to stay there, hence providing extra opportunities for conversations. Good to have such a broad range of food options and a really easy check in service.

Overall great value for money and had everything I needed. Very easy to book, check-in and check-out. The only issue is that in my room the pressure of the cold water tap was very poor and the water stream was therefore very weak. Other than that enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

Very nostalgic to be back in halls! Bed was reasonably comfortable but (I think) shorter than standard. About right for halls if memory serves. Room and en suite were clean. Fridge was quite loud but not a problem. Great value for money.

I think the website / booking needs to be overhauled. The changing of passwords and booking references is a bit clunky and confusing. Also made it hard to cancel rooms .. The people at the halls were really great and friendly ..

We are welcomed and looked after by the staff with warmth, friendliness, helpfulness and humour. Excellent for our needs (attending the Test Match at Trent Bridge). Have already recommended it to friends.

The chef during the week of 31 July to Aug 5 was particularly helpful, caring and attentive to our needs.
