Everyone was great! My Cambridge experience was by far my favorite time I spent in the U.K. and I am already looking to return next summer. We enjoyed our stay in Tamesis Guest House. The rooms were comfortable and did have everything we needed, the breakfast was great and the place good to reach by bus and visit the old parts of Oxford. Thanks! Tamesis Guest House (St Edmund Hall), Oxford

I enjoyed my stay and will return. My friends and I, all 65 and celebrating having met in a hall of residence in 1968, felt very much at home. The tea making facilities in the kitchen were much appreciated! Carr-Saunders Hall, Bloomsbury, London

Generally a great base for a holiday in London. I was disappointed however to see the bananas at breakfast were not Fairtrade, though posters displayed made a big thing of LSE’s ethical policies. Bankside House, South Bank, London
