It was absolutely lovely, loved the town and got such a warm welcome. View from the room was stunning, the area was amazing for hiking. Howes, the house i was staying in had a lovely modern kitchen and the location was great. Rest of the house was good too, no moldy smell like I had with a couple other places on my trip. Only problem was the bathroom kind of refused to get dry again after being used and the water drained to corners which is sure to cause water damage later on. But thats a little thing i hope will be fixed just for the lovely house' sake, I'd love to book again and I hope I will.

We enjoyed our stay, the location within Ambleside is very good. It was easy to use public bus services and they are a nice change from using your car. Reception staff were friendly but improvements in customer service needed. Printed A4 page on how to get the internet, what to do with your keys when reception closed, there is no letter box anywhere on the site. This just about sums up the University's approach to communication. CPD needed
