Since 1928, the Cazaudehore family, from father to son, have been able to make change a simple refreshment area into an establishment, where quality seems to be the adjective that fits best.
In the heart of the Saint-Germain-en-Laye forest, and with its hectare of surrounding parkland, La Forestière resembles more a large family house in the country, as opposed to a traditional hotel.
As soon as you cross the threshold you are met with a calm atmosphere of simplicity, charm and elegance. Everything here is part of the living tradition and with solid roots in the past.
The décor, all recently refurbished by Isabelle and Philippe Cazaudehore, is sophisticated and refined, offering a subtle blend of objects, furniture and paintings, accrued over many years by past proprietors. It is hard not to be completely enticed by the surroundings, from the restaurant and dining room to the settings rooms, as well as the rooms, each one being uniquely decorated, and the many places where one can relax.
The deliciously cosy rooms each offer a slightly different decor and in every one you will find all the required facilities, such as satellite television, direct telephone, mini bar, safe and Internet access. Each room is an excellent example of the mixture of charm and modern comforts.
