The Colegio Mayor Sant Jordi of the University of Barcelona is delighted to welcome you this summer. Our facilities are designed to accommodate the entire university community, from teachers and students, to service staff and postgraduates, who need to spend some time in Barcelona, whether for academic or professional reasons. During the summer the complex turns into a residence accommodating among others, students, conference delegates and groups visiting the city. Parallel to accommodation, we also offer the possibility to hire out our office spaces, conference and meeting rooms, sports facilities, dining room with bar etc.
The complex has a capacity for around 215 people in both rooms and apartments, all either single or double/twin with ensuite bathroom, Internet, minifridge and air conditioning. The teachers’ rooms also offer television, kitchenette, and other services.
The residence was built in 1953 at 13 Mestre Nicolau street and remained there until 2006. In 2006, following a period of uncertainty regarding the location, the complex was moved 700 metres to Passatge Ricard Zamora and fitted with new and bigger facilities that would be much more suitable for modern demands.
