Hostal Picasso Backpacker is situated in the Santa Cruz junto district, at the Alcázar of Seville palace, and very near to the Real Maestranza de Caballería bullfighting ring, the Archive of the Indies, the University of Seville, the cathedral, the Torre del Oro, the María Luisa park, Plaza de España, La Maestranza theatre, Lope de Vega theatre and the Museo de Bellas Artes. The location is a very priviledged one, with the majority of the city's most famous monuments and buildings within a 5 or 10 minute walk. The balconies of the rooms are extremely well positioned to enjoy the full view of processions of Seville's Semana Santa. The hostal is also located 10m from the Feria de Abril de Sevilla precinct. For all those who enjoy fine wine, tapas and flamenco, the Santa Cruz district offers a great variety of typically local bars, which are always buzzing with people. In what previously used to be the Jewish and Mozarabic neighbourhood, you can also find an old synagogue, which has been converted into a bar.
