Everything about this hotel is genuine. Little has been changed over the centuries with the exception of the fitting of modern plumbing and creature comforts. The open fire still blazes in the cooler seasons, the hearth is enhanced with stunning floral displays from the garden throughout the summer months and every room has its own individual history. Recently refurbished, each of the cosy bedrooms have been designed with your relaxation and comfort in mind. All rooms feature ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen televisions and luxurious comfortable beds. Bathrooms have both bath and shower, and feature luxury White Company toiletries. Dogs are welcome for a supplement.
Stonehenge and Old Sarum, Salisbury Cathedral and Wilton House are all within 20 minutes drive; the magnificent Stourhead Gardens, Longleat House and Bath only a little further.
