Check In: From 2.00pm - 12 midnight Check Out:  By 10.00am

On arrival report to the Porter's Lodge (located at the main entrance to the college) you will be given a key and directed to your room(s). It is generally possible to leave some bags in the small supervision room near the Porters Lodge, if your arrival time is before 2.00pm and your room isn't ready. However, please bear in mind that the college cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage to any personal belongings.

We regret that car parking is not available at the College.

Arriving by Road: From the M11, take either Junction 11 or 12 and follow into Cambridge City Centre (see the Regional Road Links map). Follow the city signs for public parking as parking is not available at St Catharine's (except for loading and unloading and other special circumstances). The Cambridge Around St Catharine's map shows the location of several public parking areas near the College. There are maps posted around the city which will help you find your way back to the College once you park. For more information on parking see the Parking in Cambridge site or for more information about getting to Cambridge by road see the Cambridge City Council site.

Arriving by Rail: The University maintains a schedule of Cambridge to London railway timetables with links to other railway route planners. From the Railway Station one can either walk (about one mile) or take a taxi to St Catharine's. The Railway Station is shown on the Cambridge Around St Catharine's map. The Cambridge City Council also maintains rail information.

Arriving by Air: Cambridge Coach Services run an hourly bus service to and from Stansted, Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Railway service is also available from Stansted (for more information see Railtrack's web site or from the UK call National Rail Enquiries (0345 48 49 50). The University maintains links to more airport information.

Non British nationals should ensure that they have their passport available when arriving at the College for registration purposes.

All guests are asked to treat college staff and property with respect, and conduct themselves in a manner befitting an historic academic institution, bearing in mind students and tutors may be working and living on site.
