Overview

Robin and Annie Jenkin offer a warm welcome to Manor Farm Barn which is located in the village of Aston and is within easy reach of Oxford and the Cotswolds. Aston retains the rural feel of its origins as a small farming community, whilst offering local amenities. The village is home to the locally renowned Aston Pottery, one of the few remaining working potteries in England.

If you plan to visit some of the many local attractions during your stay, your hosts have extensive local knowledge and can guide you to the best of these. From the delightful upper reaches of the Thames you could enjoy the local Chimney Meadows Nature Reserve, hire a boat for a trip on the river or relax at one of the riverside pubs. Walkers and cyclists are welcome.

Shopping at its best is available in the variety of local historic market towns including Witney and Burford, the gateway to the Cotswolds. History and culture abound in the University city of Oxford or you might like to visit Kelmscott Manor the home of William Morris.

Directions: From Oxford head north on Alfred Street towards the High Street (A420), turn left onto High Street then take the first left onto St. Aldate's and turn right onto Thames Street and continue to follow A420, turn left onto Park End Street then turn right staying on the A420, go through two roundabouts, then at the next roundabout take the third exit onto the A415 and keep left at the fork, then turn left onto Aston Road (B4449) continue for two miles then turn left onto Bull Street and right onto Waites Close and Manor Farm Barn is on the left.
