For more than 17 years, the B&B Marie is situated in the district "Prenzlauer Berg", which is one of the trendiest and scenic districts in Berlin. Here, and in the neighbouring district of "Berlin Mitte", you will find the most attractive places for art, culture, gastronomy and nightlife.
The rooms and apartments are located in 3 different, but very quiet buildings, within this traditional area. Each of them has got a green inner courtyard, so you can enjoy a peaceful stay in Berlin.
All rooms and apartments have been recently modernised or refurbished and comprise a shower and WC, partially with 30-channel TV, refrigerator and coffee/tea making facilities.
The building Meyerheimstrasse 3, is in close vicinity to the "Prenzlauer Allee", which is approximately 1 km away from the main building in Schivelbeiner Strasse, which houses the Check-in reception.
The suburban railway station “Prenzlauer Allee” is just around the corner. It is only 10 minutes by tram to the famous Alexander Square.
There are plenty of shopping opportunities, e.g. the shopping centre “Schoenhauser Allee Arkaden” (3 minutes walk from the building Schivelbeiner Strasse), or the largest shopping mall Europe’s “Alexa”, which can be reached within 10 minutes by public transport. In the Prenzlauer Berg district itself, you will find a large number of small shops.
Since January 1, 2014 guests have to pay the so-called city-tax upon arrival. The city-tax is imposed by the city of Berlin in the amount of 5% on the room rate. The city-tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid in cash at the hotel.
