Atilano Coco Martin (Guarrate, Zamora, 1902 - Salamanca, 1936) was a Spanish Protestant pastor, murdered by the rebels a few months after the start of the Civil War.
Coco was a priest of the Spanish Reformed Episcopal Church in Salamanca, where he was also a teacher at the school attached to the Church of England. He was also a leading member of the Socialist Party and Radical Republican Friend of Miguel de Unamuno. He was arrested by the military rebels in late July 1936, being sent to the provincial prison of Salamanca on December 9, 1936 by order of the military governor. According to one account, he was shot without trial against the cemetery wall.

From the main square: out on the street to the Puerta de Zamora, go straight from the ride Torres Villaroel, to Glorieta Square (Plaza de Toros). Enter through the avenue of San Agustin (old road to Valladolid) to the square of the Treaty of Tordesillas. To the right of this square you can see the residence.
From the train station: exit the station to Avenida de Portugal. Walk along the avenue of Portugal until the ride Torres Villaroel, crossing the Avenida de Portugal. Turn right to the Glorieta Square (Plaza de Toros). Enter through the avenue of San Agustin (old road to Valladolid) to the square of the Treaty of Tordesillas. In this square to the right you can see the residence. Twenty minutes walk.
From the bus station: down the street Penia of France, crossing the avenue underneath Portugal, continuing down the avenue of Salamanca to the square of the Treaty of Tordesillas. To the right of this square you can see the residence. Twenty minutes walk.
