Overview

School House Holiday Lets on Castle Street is a self-contained annex with off-road parking. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, the first of which has a lovely four poster King size bed overlooking the River Kent’s salmon jump. The second bedroom can either be made up as a luxurious superking bed or two single beds. Each bedroom has an ensuite with shower. Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room.

There is lots of information about local restaurants and places of interest. School House is equipped with a TV, DVD player, complimentary Wi-Fi, washer-dryer, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and hairdryers. You will be provided with fresh bed linen, towels and dressing gowns.

Extra services as desired, such as a mid-stay clean and linen change, a grocery pack on your arrival or special treats such wine, chocolates and flowers.

An ideal location to access the most popular tourist sites and is a good base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, Howgill Fells, the Lune Valley and the beautiful Cumbria Coastline.

Directions: Leave the M6 at Junction 36. Follow the dual carriageway signposted for Kendal and take the first exit for Kendal Town Centre. Join the one-way system along Highgate. Turn right into Lowther Street and continue on the one-way system. After passing the bus station on your left, turn right at the traffic lights into Sandes Avenue. Go over the bridge and then at the mini roundabout (just past Kendal train station), take a right onto Wildman Street. Take the first left, just before the bridge, onto Castle Street. The School House B&B is the first detached house on the left opposite St Georges Church. If you have requested parking, take a left into Sleddale Gardens and there is a small parking area, on the left.
