Overview

Yarra House is a magnificent completely renovated legacy building located in the lively suburb of Fairfield. The property is near a variety of shops and restaurants, walking tracks, bicycle paths and sporting facilities. Trains and buses will take you to Melbourne downtown area in a short time and various train stations are situated within 10 to 15 minutes walk.

The residence offers accommodation in single or double rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Electronic swipe cards provide quick and easy access to your room and Village facilities while providing 24-hour security.

Location was good and surrounding area very good. Service from staff was very good. If you arrive after 5 pm to check-in it could be a bit difficult, particularly if you do not have the security staff phone number. Assumed that there would be cooking facilities in the room but this was not the case. Yarra House is a very interesting heritage building and the stay was good overall.

How to find us:

Yarra House is located in the suburb of Fairfield and is easily accessible by bus and train.

The residence is approximately 40 minutes by taxi from the Melbourne Tullamarine Airport. Alternatively, you can catch the SkyBus to Southern Cross Station. From Southern Cross station you can catch the Hurstbridge line to Dennis Station, where it is a 10-15 minute walk to Yarra House.
