This is a very pleasant hotel, for its architectural status (designed by William Paty), for its setting in a Georgian square with a central garden, for its cleanliness within, and for its warm and helpful staff. I had a lovely stay and would warmly recommend it with lots of 5 stars!

Lovely stay and large apartment with good view over grounds. Location is very good for walking to City center and free parking was a definite bonus. Very helpful and friendly lady in the porters office at the gates. We would stay again if visiting Cambridge

Milton Abbas is a picturesque village and the Hambros Arms a comfortable inn. Staff very welcoming. The view from our room at the back was spoilt by a discarded sink, chairs, bottles, cans and long grass. Having said that we would certainly go back!

Very pleased with every aspect. Room clean and tidy. Bathroom facilities good. Breakfast hot and a good slick service. Check-in and out was quick and easy and was nice to be able to leave our luggage on departure day to collect later.

I thought being out of central London might be an issue but transport links were fantastic. It was worth if for the friendly welcome, parkland campus and easy access to beautiful Richmond Park and Barnes WWT
