International House is a residential college, which is owned and operated by the University of Sydney. During the academic year it is home to a residential community of 200 students from Australia and many other countries around the world. Situated in the heart of Sydney, on the main campus of the University, International House is the ideal place to stay if you are visiting Sydney either for academic, leisure or other purposes.
Casual accommodation at International House is available during University vacation periods as well as during the semester depending on room availability. The University vacation period for summer break usually starts early December and finishes in the third week of February.
International House is close to the city centre and the vibrant suburbs of Newtown and Glebe where there is a great range of restaurants, pubs, shops, cinemas and theatres. Enjoy the convenient location, rooftop terrace with sweeping city views, courtyards, reading and TV rooms and sports facilities on or near campus. Bus stops can be found close to the residence.
