Lime House B&B, Gainsborough

Geschichte

Lime House Bed and Breakfast is a Grade 2 listed property with parts of the house dating back to George 1.

The house has three staircases and at one time was a barn that that has been refurbished. Most rooms have old oak beams and the floor has that typical uneveness that can make one think you "should take more water with your drink!"

Essen & Getränke

In Kirton there are several places in walking distance to dine, these include an Indian restaurant, two local public houses that sell food, a fish and chip shop. a take away chinese and a take away pizza two minutes by car.

In surrounding villages there are many places to eat and more up market restaurants in both Scunthorpe, 8 miles away, Brigg 7 miles away and Lincoln 19 miles away.

In Kirton there are three public houses and many in the surrounding areas.

Use of the barbeque area at the house is negotiable at separate cost.

Breakfast at Lime House consists of Tea or Coffee Fruit juice

Cereal, yoghurt, friut

Bacon eggs sausage beans grilled tomatoes  and mushrooms 

Toast marmalade and jams

All bacon and sausages are bought at the local butcher and of very high quality.

Continental breakfast can be arranged if informad at booking.

Grundstücke und Gärten

Lime house has a very pretty garden and those staying are welcome to make use of it, there is an area that has table and chairs just right for those evenings when sitting outside is preferable to being in a restaurant or Public house. 

The garden is quirky with old hay waggon sheds and many nooks and crannies. The view from the garden is breathtaking looking over the Trent Valley, a delight to sit in on those summer evenings with a barbeque area and  completely secluded.

There is a barbeque area currently being developed where guests are welcome to barbeque . If this facility is used and as host I am expected to obtain the food and cook this will have to be negotiated and paid for separately.
