The Owen family has personally run the hotel for 12 years with attention to detail and a warm atmosphere. We have recently been awarded an AA 3 star Hotel rating, one of the highest in the area. The only 3 star hotel in Chard, we are close to the South Coast in the heart of cider country, with lots of National Trust properties and many other places of interest nearby.
Set in a secluded area on the Somerset, Dorset, Devon borders, we are surrounded by natural pasture land but only three minutes away from Chard town centre. It is a perfect location for those seeking peace and tranquillity.
Our 25 ensuite bedrooms are ideal for a night away or a long holiday. We offer ground floor bedrooms, a room with disabled facilities and family rooms.
