Here at The Plough, we offer a warm and friendly service, whether you want to enjoy a drink in front of the fire on a cold winter’s day, or whether you want to enjoy a traditional home cooked meal in our lovely restaurant.
For those lovers of real ale we have two cask ales which are available all year round plus a seasonal guest ale . We have introduced a fantastic new menu using only the finest fresh locally sourced ingredients.
Dogs are welcome in the bar, lounge area and garden .
With three guest rooms, The Plough is the ideal place to stay. It is situated only three miles from Whitby.
The plough offers 2 double rooms and 1 twin. All rooms are en suite and dog friendly and at no extra charge.
The Plough sits on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, opening up a whole range of activities, from walking (whether it is the Coast to Coast walk or just a ramble across the moors) to taking a ride on the North York Moors Steam Train for those train buffs out there!
The historic cities of York and Durham, and the vibrant cities of Newcastle and Leeds are all within easy reach.
