The residence, being located in the city centre, near the university, is surrounded by all sorts of facilities, bars and restaurants, among which you will find the following:

Nearby you will find the Terraza de Zéus (avenida Reina Sofía), terrace restaurant, serving food in the open air, the Chamorro Benítez restaurant (calle Juan Antonio de Vera Figueroa and Zuñiga), the Tapería del Sur, and the Caramelo, Moliner and Gilda cocktail bars, as well as the Lizarrán bar and restaurant.

In the city centre, it is worth visiting the Restaurant-Taperia Casa Benito, Entrecañas, Kioscos de la Plaza de España, Bar Las 13 Uvas, el Retrovisor, el Pestorejo and the Jijona ice cream parlour.

It is also worth paying a visit to the El Foro shopping and leisure centre, located on the other side of the river. The most popular places there are Café Tacuba and the Garoa pub.

The residence is located very near to some sports grounds and gardens, as well as a 4km (2.5 mile) walk along the river, which creates its own micro-climate in the surrounding area, making any stay much more enjoyable.
