Thames Street (Oxford Brookes), Oxford

Even though we arrived out of office hours, the staff were there to greet us and get us settled in. Lovely people! The room comprised a standard single bed, wardrobe, desk, chair and wet-room style ensuite with towels and bedding provided. Typical student accommodation, as advertised and perfectly suited for a quick business or sightseeing trip. Airport buses stop a mere 10 minute walk from the building and there is a good-sized Tesco just around the corner for the necessities.

It was basic, but ok for a few nights. The room and ensuite were both clean on arrival. The toiletries were a bonus. 9am is quite early to have to leave by, another hour would have been appreciated. Location was good, easy transport links and short walk into town. Could do with a couple of coat hangers in wardrobe. Felt safe, as the key fob system limits who has access to the building.

Lovely stay. I recommend it to anyone who is going to stay in Oxford. Neat, with lovely staff, and near pubd, supermarkets and touristic points.
