17 Stonegate - a House of York holiday home is the finest 1 bedroom town house in central York. It is accessed through an entrance on Blake Street (a few steps from York Minster). Once you go up to the first floor you will find yourself in a different world as you are greeted by quiet, a lovely landscaped area and a stunning open view of York Minster.
On entering the house you will be greeted by a gorgeous view of the skyline of York and a lovely, spacious living area with double height floor to ceiling windows. There is a comfy L-shaped sofa and armchair beautifully positioned to enjoy the view or watch TV on the 52" wall mounted TV (with Freeview, Netflix and Britbox).
There is a dining table that seats 4 and a kitchen kitted out with everything you need to cook a meal (or visit local restaurants with our House of York card for discounts up to 25%). There is an oven, microwave, electric hob, dishwasher and washing machine.
There is a beautiful patio accessed through sliding doors with table and chairs perfect to soak up the views and listen to the Minster bells!
The bedroom is upstairs and has fabulous views across the skyline of York. At night there are black-out curtains for a cosy night's sleep. This is a mezzanine bedroom. The bedroom can be set up as a super king or two full singles and we have two ottoman pull out beds which are perfect for children / adults. There is a £15 a night surcharge per ottoman. We have a travel cot available on request.
There is a luxurious ensuite bathroom with a bath, rain shower, handheld shower and a large sink and toilet. We provide towels and Scottish Fine Sea Kelp hand wash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
Parking
There is public parking less than a 10 minute walk away.
