Overview

This Georgian mansion house has been sympathetically renovated and upgraded over the years. The present owner, Margaret Jaffray with her late husband Dugald, bought the hotel in 1966. They have improved and enlarged the original home into a comfortable country house.

Spanning two centuries of family ownership, Banchory Lodge has retained every ounce of it’s individuality, character and identity and is justifiably proud to share with you one of the few remaining Scottish country house hotels of its kind. The hotel is moments away from anywhere, yet by its very setting, allows you to feel you have found your own special place away from it all.

All of the 22 bedrooms, 4 of which have four poster beds, have ensuite facilities, linens, towels and bathrobes.
