CA Holiday Management - Kathryn Lodge, Malton

We are based on Malton Grange Lodge Park in Amotherby very close to Malton. We are between York and Scarborough.

The East Coast has plenty of places to visit including Whitby, Filey and Robin Hoods Bay.
The historical city of York has plenty of tourist attractions such as York Minster, The Castle Museum, The Yorvik Viking Centre, Cliffords Tower and York Dungeons. There is also an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants within the City Centre.

We are very close to Flaming Land which is a huge theme park with lots of thrill rides and also a zoo. This is well worth a visit.
There is also Eden Camp, Yorkshire Lavender and Castle Howard very close by. The Pickering steam railway is quite close to the lodges which take you through the moors to see all the stunning scenery and the heathers on the Moorlands.

Dalby Forest is quite close to us, which is a fantastic day out for all the family. Whether you enjoy walking or cycling where there are lots of different trails for both, there is plenty of activities here including a children's play park and if you are a thrill seeker there is the Go Ape Tree Top challenge also within the Forest.

The Market town of Malton is only 3 miles away from the lodges. This has a weekly Market and often do special events such as food or Christmas Markets. There is a frequent train service from Malton to York. Taxis are also available and can be ordered to or from the lodge park if a taxi is needed.

The Queens head Cantonese Restaurant is only a 2 minute drive from the Lodge which is a fantastic meal out. the Smithys Arms Pub is 5 minutes drive way which serve fantastic home cooked food and also offer a takeaway service and a breakfast menu. This pub does lots of themed evenings and quite often has live music.

There is a Woodland area on the Park which has a walk through where you can spot wildlife and walk your dog if you have brought a pet.
