Situated within The South Downs National park, our idyllic surroundings are close to the historic village of Alfriston and boast easy access to Glyndebourne, Eastboune, Brighton, the South Downs Way, as well as local villages and Cuckmere Valley.
Each room offers freeview TV, hairdryer, refreshment tray, iron and ironing board, robes and slippers and complimentary bathroom toiletries, as standard.
Disabled access is available throughout the entire site including a fully wheelchair accessible twin bedroom, accessed via a lift.
Our beautiful country gardens are worth a visit in their own right, which were created by 2010 Chelsea Flower Show Gold winner, Roger Platts and we are delighted that they are being extended and maintained by 2016 Gold winner, Juliet Sargeant.
We operate a luxury Tea Room in the Oak Lodge serving Teas, Cakes, Coffees, and Cream Teas - opening hours are Tuesday - Sunday 10 am til 4 pm.
English wine is available to purchase and alcohol is available at our bar.
We are happy to organise private wine tasting during your stay, by prior arrangement.
