The apartment is set in the basement of one of Edinburgh's fine historical buildings, dating back to the early 1700's. Fountain bridge is a short distance west of the city centre, adjoining Tollcross and West Port to the east, Polwarth to the south, Dalry and Haymarket to the north and Gorgie and North Merchiston to the west. The main streets through the area are Fountainbridge and Dundee Street.
Did you know Sean Connery was born and grew up in the Fountainbridge area? His former production company was known as Fountainbridge Films.
The apartment itself is set up to offer the utmost of comfort for our guests. There is a double bedroom with wardrobe and drawers. A bathroom which contains a shower and bath and the living room offers peace and comfort, with a large bed settee to house extra guests, and a flatscreen TV. The kitchen is well equipped, with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans included. Bedding, towels, hairdryer and iron are all provided for you.
To the rear of the property is a private courtyard, this can be accessed via your kitchen door and is a perfect setting for summer breakfasts and glass of evening wine. The apartment has all that you would need, just bring along yourself and your clothing ... we provide the rest!
