The Jolly Sailor is a traditional English pub, situated near the Quay at Orford, part of the lovely Suffolk Heritage Coastline. Offering three newly refurbished double rooms with ensuite bathrooms, the deepest roll-top baths, comfortable duvets and fluffy towels. Each of the rooms have Nespresso Coffee machines and DAB Radios.

Directions: From the south take A12 north to Lowestoft, following ring road round Woodbridge. At last Woodbridge roundabout go right onto A1152 signposted to Orford. Go over the level crossing at Melton and turn left at next roundabout. Then keep straight on this road going through Butley and Chillesford and eventually you will reach a five way cross roads facing Sudbourne church. Turn right here and the road will take you in to Orford village. As you come into the village you will pass the garage on your left and then the Kings Head pub on Front Street. From Front Street turn left onto Market Hill, then turn right onto Church Street. Chuch Street continues forward onto Quay Street.

If coming from the North turn off the A12 onto the A1094 to Aldeburgh. Opposite Snape Chuch, turn right onto the B1069. Go past Snape Maltings, then fork left to Orford. Go through Sudbourne and keep straight on. When you reach the village follow the directions as above.

The nearest train station is Woodbridge/Melton about a 25 minute car journey from Orford. There are train services direct to Woodbridge from Liverpool Street Station or via Ipswich and there is a taxi service based at Woodbridge station.
