Overview

A Warm welcome awaits you at the River Haven Hotel & Restaurant.

This family run comfortable Hotel of 22 en-suite rooms in the Ancient town of Rye is situated on the Strand Quay over looking the River Tillingham.

Our conservatory restaurant provides breakfast in a large socially distanced room overlooking the river. We offer evening meals from Wednesday to Saturday 6pm until 8.30pm. Lunch is served Friday and Saturday from midday until 3pm and traditional lunch on Sunday from midday until 4pm.

All Superior rooms have a river view and we offer standard and superior rooms either double, twin or family. We also have double bedded garden rooms with private patio with disabled access. All of our rooms have hospitality trays, Flat Screen TV's with Freeview, hairdryers, telephone and all have internet access.

The centre of the mediaeval town is four minutes walk away with a variety of shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants together with such features as the Landgate Tower built in 1325 as a defence against the French. The citadel features the Ypres Tower, a Norman fortification, St Marys, a beautiful Norman church at the top of the town, the Mermaid Inn, whose cellars date from the 1100s and many buildings dating from the 13th to the 17th century.
