From the Village of Lacock.

  • Go past The George Pub heading North.
  • Just over a little bridge you will see a large red brick house on your left.

By Train

The nearest  station is Chippenham. This is a mainline station with trains directly from London. From outside the station you can get a taxi to Lacock. It takes about 10 minutes. Some drivers need to be given directions ...

Turn left off A350 at Whitehall Traffic lights towards Reybridge. Follow road round to right and pass Lacock Village sign. Soon after on the right is the entrance to The Rectory Guest House.  Immediately after that is a small service road on right. Go up there and Talbot House is at the brow of the hill.

By Coach

National Express Coaches  and Mega bus both run services to Chippenham. From here a taxi to Lacock or the local bus.

Bus

The X34 runs to Lacock village and can be picked up by the train station at Chippenham. The service is not very fequent and does not run on Sundays. Would advise that you check the service if you want to use it.
