Coachmans Cottage B&B, Manchester

History

Coachmans Cottage is a former coach house and stables built in 1850 for the large Victorian house Heathfield which owned the land and building.

Converted after the war into a home by its owners who had also owned Heathfield, it has been a lovely family home over the years and with a total renovation in 2010 it is now a family home and business.

Food & beverage

Full English breakfasts are provided and served in the spacious dining/kitchen at the large farmhouse table.

Fresh and local produce is purchased from the village and local butcher and the property they even has their own chickens eggs laying fresh eggs for your breakfast everyday!

There is a range of good restaurants, cafes and a couple of pubs just 5 minutes walk away in the village. The owners are happy to reccommend restaurants further afield.

Grounds & Gardens

The property is set in large private gardens tucked away behind Heathfield down a long gravel driveway. Guests are very welcome to make use of the gardens and its seating areas in the summer months. They also have an outdoor undercover seating area where smoking is permitted.

Other facilities

Bedrooms are equipped with flat screen Televisions, free Wi Fi, luxury toiletries, hairdryer, his and her bath robes and  hospitality tray with biscuits and chocolates.

Guests are welcome to relax in the large sitting room which has a television, radio and DVD player. Free internet is available throughout the property. Washing and ironing facilities are available on request.
