Overview

We are a modern campus set in 300 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking the historic city of Canterbury and its famous cathedral.

Tyler Court offers offers 4-star* VisitEngland campus graded accommodation with many with fantastic views over the University grounds and Canterbury. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and internet access. Laundry facilities are available within the blocks.

Prices are based on a Bed & Breakfast rate, with breakfast being available between 7.45am and 10am in our Rutherford College Dining Hall.

Free parking is available close to Tyler Court and there is a regular bus service to and from Canterbury on a daily basis.

I stayed at Kent University for two weeks in August 2010. Everything was excellent - excellent accommodation and excellent food. The only thing which I did not like were the doors in the accommodation block - they were all fire doors and tended to be noisey on closing. Many thanks to the Universoty of Kent. It is a pity that more people do not know about the excellent accommodation which universities provide.

Great campus with views of the Cathedral. Nice en suite room, very quiet. Recommend the Gulbenkian cinema and associated cafe.

Für englische Verhältnisse, grosses Zimmer. Sehr empfehlenswert. Unbedingt Radio mitbrinden, da kein Radio oder TV vorhanden.
