The walking distance to the tube stations is 15 minutes or more and the area around the hotel is quiet suburbian neighborhood and industrial estates so be prepared for the distances if you want to see the most common sights in the centre. Lovely couple who only took over the Guest House in June and have plans to up the standards, which are already pretty high. Parking might be an issue during the busy summer months, apart from that, could not find fault and would certainly stay there again. The Beaches Guest House, Southend-on-Sea
