I have stayed here three times before and feel that the accommodation is great value and convenient for the city, compared with even the travel lodges/premier inn costs/standards. However I found that the standard of breakfast appears to have declined, the portions served on the cooked differed on both mornings (different servers) frozen bread left for toasting, both mornings croissants so under cooked inside that they were inedible, no butter only flora. Yoghurts avail Sunday but not Saturday....a bit hit and miss, but would probably stay again.

This was our 5th visit and once again we were impressed by the facilities and the service. All the staff are professional but welcoming and the rooms always clean and comfortable. We are certainly looking forward to going again.

I thought the rooms were good value for money, although the communal showers/w.c could have done with a bit of a facelift. bed was comfortable, complimentary toiletries were a nice touch, and the breakfast was excellent.

I had a good experience staying at the Claud Gibb - the room was quiet and the bed was comfy. Sharing a bathroom did not present too much of a problem and all the staff I met were very welcoming. Thank you
