We don't have hot tubs or jacuzzi's but we do have affordable traditional guest rooms all with ensuite faciltites at lower affordable realistic prices for this area.
A traditional Guesthouse Ideally situated within easy walking distance of the villages of Windermere and Bowness on Windermere with ferry access to Ambleside and Lakes end. The area is a true walkers dream. Walks ranging from ambling strolls to longer, scenic fell walks commence on our doorstep.
Local attractions nearby include ‘World of Beatrix Potter’, Steam boat museum and Wordsworth Rydal Mount and Dove Cottage, at nearby Grasmere.
Crompton House a Guest House is a strictly Non-Smoking Guest House retaining lots of Victorian character. The warm friendly atmosphere creates a relaxed and homely feel.
Once checked in, come and go as you please we don't have time restrictions.
Windermere and Bowness on Windermere also offer a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars to suite all palates and purses.
There is free parking available on site and plenty of free parking in the surrounding area. Free Internet access is available.

During covid, we are asking guests to self check in. On arrival please telephone numbers on the door and we will give you instruction on gaining access to the key safe and how to get to your room. You MUST fill in a guest registration form on arrival for track and trace, you also must
