Aperçu

Acorn Guest House is well situated near the river Cam and just a 10-15 minute walk away to the city centre and colleges, alternatively guest can take the fast and frequent bus service which is located directly opposite the guest house.

The charming yellow brick house has been carefully expanded and redesigned to have a homely atmosphere and comfortable accommodation. It has the benefit of being a family-owned company being able to deliver a very personal service and a memorable stay in Cambridge.

Rooms may be allocated in the main house or annexe. The annexe (Hawthorn House) is situated a short walk away along a quiet road opposite the main house.

Check-in/out is in the main house.

Overall pleased with accomodation and hotel team all seemed very friendly and helpful. Ideal location for what we wanted all good. Minor point with room 11 was shower needs rose fitted but adequate all the same. Enjoyed the stay thankyou

Address: From London or Stansted Airport use the M11. From the north, the A14 brings traffic from the A1(M) to the north of Cambridge. The west and east are served by the A14 running from near Birmingham to Felixstowe. It is easiest to join the A14 and turn off at the Milton exit (near the Science park). Follow the road towards the city centre, when arriving at the roundabout (about 1 mile from the A14), turn left and then right at the next roundabout. The hotel is 100m from the roundabout on the left.

Nearest train station: Cambridge which is a short taxi or bus ride away.
