Dorset House is located nearly six miles from sandy beaches, Esplanade, Ryde Shopping Center and Transportation Routes.

The spacious accommodations of the hotel give the family holiday a choice of rooms appropriate for the single traveller. The rooms at Dorset Hotel, Isle of Wight are individually furnished and all come with tea/coffee making facilities and a Freeview TV. Most provide views of the sea across the Solent.

Friendly staff. Hotel is rather tired in appearance but comfortable and quiet. There was a problem with the room we were shown to, so they relocated us to a better room without issue, which was good.

Directions: From the Isle of Wight Ferry, Wightlink, Ryde head West onto Ferry Road 3021 towards Castle Street, turn right onto Castle Street, at the roundabout take the third exit onto Well Road then left onto York Avenue then right staying on York Avenue. At the roundabout take the first exit to Lushington Hill A3054 and left onto Argyll Street proceed straight onto Green Street B3330 and left onto Player Street then first right onto Park Street and second left onto Dover Street.

From the Red Funnel ferry, Cowes go to Dover Road at the roundabout take the second exit onto Well Road A3021 then left onto York Avenue then right staying on York Avenue. At the roundabout take the first exit to Lushington Hill A3054 and left onto Argyll Street proceed straight onto Green Street B3330 and left onto Player Street then first right onto Park Street and second left onto Dover Street.
