The Great Northern, Derby

At the Great Northern we offer a choice of 3 guest bedrooms which were recently refurbished in 2010.

We have thoroughly refurbished a barn within the grounds of the pub, and created 3 elegant and contemporary rooms, all of which are en suite and have been finished to the highest quality.

We believe the small things matter at the Great Northern, which is why we think comfy beds, attractive furnishings and great bathrooms will make your stay one to remember. We have our executive suite, complete with king size bed, relaxation area, sumptuous roll top bath, and a separate shower which is perfect for your special occasions.

All rooms have complimentary tea & coffee, ironing boards and hair-dryers.

The pub itself does get very busy and so we would always recommend calling to book a table if you wish to dine with us.

The Great Northern is situated on the edge of Mickleover with easy access to a host of local attractions such as Carsington Water, Ashbourne, Alton Towers and not too far from the Peak District. Only a ten minute drive from the city centre where you can find the recently improved West Field shopping centre
