Panoramica

Batavia Mews offers accommodation less than twenty minutes from the West End of London by train. The Halls are located on the busy and lively New Cross Road. Goldsmiths is the perfect base from which to visit London. 

Close to maritime Greenwich, the Oval cricket ground and Canary Wharf, Batavia Mews is perfectly placed for visitors to London.

The accommodation consist of flats of seven rooms. The Standard Single rooms come equipped with simple furnishings and most of them have washbasins. The rate does not include breakfast but guests have access to large kitchens.

None of the rooms are en-suite, and guests are expected to use the shared bathrooms within flats. These are cleaned and maintained daily (Monday-Friday). Rooms are weekly serviced

The shared areas at Batavia Mews are cleaned daily (Monday-Friday) and there is overnight on-site security to offer guests complete peace of mind.

Please note that a 7 night minimum stay is required.

The kitchen was without glasses, cups, soap, cutlery, openers -- i.e., everything except fridge, stove, and micro-wave. I coped, but it seemed a little cheap. The doors need oiling, and they close with a thud, which is potentially disturbing to those asleep. The stairs up to the kitchen sagged and complained when I walked on them. I suggest that a carpenter inspect them. All in all I enjoyed myself at Batavia Mews. The connections to central London were excellent, via New Cross Gate Station. I would come again.
