Bridges Court B&B, Luckington

History

The house, which is owned by Viscountess Melville, was once owned by Sir Stewart Menzies, the former head of MI6, and the person on whom Ian Fleming's "M" of James Bond fame was based. While at Bridges Court, his next door neighbour in 1936 was purported to be a German agent, Baron Robert Treeck, who had leased Luckington Manor.

Food & beverage

Breakfast is served between 7.00am and 9.30am, included in the price of your stay is a full English or Continental breakfast, which in the summer months can be served in the walled garden. There is a pub in the village that serves excellent food and a local shop. Please advise which breakfast you would like as pastries are pre ordered in advance.

Grounds & Gardens

Guests at Bridges Court can enjoy the walled garden and croquet lawn, there is also an outdoor swimming pool which can be used during the summer months.

Immerse yourself in an intensive English as a Foreign Language and Cultural Course at Bridges Court. Courses are tailored to individual requirements and tuition can be on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
