Overview

Situated on the edge of Summertown, under 3 miles from Oxford’s historic city centre with buses offering direct access into the city centre every 6 minutes. Hollybush Guest House offers a convenient and affordable place to stay whilst touring Oxford and the surrounding areas. Blenheim Palace, Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Bicester Village designer outlet, the Cotswolds, Warwick Castle, Windsor and London are all within easy reach. North Oxford's Golf Club is within 10 minutes walk.

Guests can choose from single, twins, double or family rooms which are available as ensuite or with shared bathroom facilities and have views over the garden or the city.

We arrived later than we had advised to find a note on the door. When I called the number listed I was welcomed and given the code for the key box, so we were able get in easily. The place was clean and the rooms comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of serve yourself continental style options. Basic but good value accommodation.

The owners of the facility have been very kind and have made our stay at Hollybush Guest House, Oxford, very comfortable. The place is very close to the bus stop for easy downtown connectivity. The room and the bathroom had just been renovated. A very nice stay!

The key phrase is 'value for money': my room was small and simple, very clean, comfortable bed, everything I needed for a one-night stay;and it cost me £50 in Oxford! Eva is very courteous, charming, attentive. It makes all the difference.

The room was well decorated with lovely furniture and very clean. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious I would highly recommend staying at the Hollybush hotel.

We arrived at Hollybush much layer than we had anticipated (around 1:30am). The owner let us in the house after our long train journey from Brussels. So grateful for that!
