This is great for a few days in central London as an independent traveller and just needing a base from which to see the city. The rooms are clean and simply furnished; there is a full kitchen just along the corridor. The only downside is that's it's quite noisy: on some days staff started moving trolleys across the courtyard arond 6 am; there was a group of American students out late on a couple of nights - once after 1 am - and someone practicing the piano until after midnight one evening.

Room was fine. Two annoyances. First- there was two leaflets in the room, about fire escape and general regulations, but nothing about how to join the wifi. I had to go back to reception for that. Also, the night time receptionist didnt know whether or not storage of luggage after check-out was possible and there was no info about it the website either. As it happened, it was not possible, so I had to pay a pretty penny for it at St. Pancras station.

First time using UniversitiyRooms.com and it won't be the last. Everything about the process was straight forward and communications were clear and helpful. The location I chose was perfectly situated for my needs and the room itself was cleaner and more spacious than some hotels I've stayed in. Because this was a short stay I did not use the kitchen facilities. Excellent value for money.

Accommodation was basic and clean as was the separate shower room. Students in other quarters did congregate sat and sun mornings outside my window in courtyard and we're very noisy. Otherwise a pleasant stay. Staff polite.

Generally good experience in a greet location. Couple of minor annoyances; the shower didn't drain well and the key fob for the main gate didn't work so we had to ring reception every time we arrived and left.

Staff were helpful, room could do with some cosmetic improvements. Would have been good to leave luggage for few hrs on checkout

Friendly staff. Ok room. Really good bed. Bathrooms old and a bit worn down. You could hear a lot from the courtyard.

Great value but a pity the quiet after 11pm in the common room wasn’t enforced.

Service, at reception was excellent.
