Thanks to very friendly & helpful staff, i.e.most people at porter's lodge (esp young lady with brown hair; security head with the 'reddish' nose (don't know name); also people at breakfast tried to deliver a seamless service. (perhaps some not so familiar with continental habits?). Only possibly (!) not positive point: Please make sure that the temporary security staff does not have conflicting interests from other jobs -- Very nice ands super speedy reaction on question at the online booking.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the picturesque Somerville College. My room, located in Darbishire with a shared bathroom, was incredibly spacious and functional, equipped with a desk and ample storage space for personal items, which was fantastic! The only drawback was the bed mattress, which appeared quite worn and uncomfortable. However, considering the overall greatness of the experience, this minor issue didn’t detract significantly. I will definitely come back again!

The staff in the porter's lodge were very friendly and helpful. The room was plain, but spacious and comfortable and had everything I needed (except perhaps a long mirror?). The fact that it was not en-suite did not matter at all, as I was opposite the large bathroom - the shower was fantastic! I will definitely book again and would hope to be given the same room.

Welcoming, helpful and polite porter who checked me in. Basic student room, but had all that was needed. Shared bathroom was close by, clean and had both a shower and a bath. Good value for money for a room in Oxford in a reasonably central location in Term time.

Really enjoyed my stay. It was a beautiful location with a clean room and spacious communal bathroom. My only note is that it was quite chilly, as the windows are single glazed, but they provided an extra heater to take the chill out.

Friendly efficient service, comfortable accommodation with shared bathroom. But if noise from fellow residents but otherwise perfect.

Very clean, very spacious bathroom for 3 rooms, beautiful view out of the window, in the centre of Jericho

Lodgers were very helpful at check-in. The room and bathroom were pristine, and were cleaned daily.
