Overview

The Atlantic Hotel in St Brelade, Jersey enjoys glorious sea views over St Ouen's Bay and its five miles of golden sand. Set in six acres of private grounds adjoining La Moye championship golf course.

Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands, and has many places to visit such as Mont Orgueil Castle, Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, Jersey War Tunnels, Eric Young Orchid Foundation, La Mare Wine Estate and of course tax free shopping. There are many sporting pursuits available on the island from water sports, to golf and is a walkers paradise with walks around the rugged coastline, country lanes or woods.

History

The hotel has been in local family ownership ever since it opened in 1970, which accounts for its established reputation for friendly and attentive service.

Food & beverage

Recently awarded a Michelin star for the ninth year in a row, and 4 AA stars the Ocean Restaurant combines fine dining at its best with stunning views across the gardens to St Ouen’s Bay.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, showcasing modern British cooking in a classic setting with the emphasis on fresh Jersey produce. Lighter options are also available in the lounge or on the terrace. You can also enjoy a cocktail from the bar, or spoil yourself with a delicious afternoon tea. Younger guests can choose from a nursery menu with 1-3 courses.

The Atlantic Hotel occupies a prominent headland position overlooking the island's premier wildlife site, Les Mielles, a conservation area of international significance and outstanding natural beauty.

Guests may relax on the sun loungers around the swimming pool or take a stroll through the gardens and take in the stunning scenery.

Guests have use of the Palm Club designed to offer guests and local residents a relaxing and inspiring environment in which to unwind or work out. The club comprises a deck level indoor swimming pool, spa pool, mini gymnasium and saunas. The Palm Club is open from 7.30am-7.30pm seven days a week, with restricted opening hours on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Guests are also invited to use the tennis court in the grounds of The Atlantic Hotel – court times can be reserved in advance with the Palm Club.

Condor Ferries operate a car and passenger service from England’s south coast ports of Poole and Portsmouth to St Helier. Guests can choose to travel by fast ferry or the more leisurely, but comprehensively equipped, conventional car ferry.
