This is a very pleasant hotel, for its architectural status (designed by William Paty), for its setting in a Georgian square with a central garden, for its cleanliness within, and for its warm and helpful staff. I had a lovely stay and would warmly recommend it with lots of 5 stars!

Very enjoyable stay, room very good, all facilities needed, comfortable bed, nice ensuite. Enjoyed the ambience of the bar, log burning stove and very good food and wine. Staff very attentive, but not intrusive. Would happily return to the White Horse.

I enjoyed it. The washing machine was excellent and being able to self cater is money saving, Position was good close to all transport and many supermarkets.
