The Colegio Mayor Arosa was built in October 1977 and was assigned to the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1981 and is the only feminine residence to be assinged to the university. It is located right in the centre of the city within easy walking distance of most of the university faculties. It offers very good quality accommodation and is equipped with excellent facilities, all of which make it an ideal place to stay for both students and visitors. The Arosa residence works in close association with the Opus Dei institution of the Catholic Church.
The residence offers single and triple standard rooms with shared bathroom facilities with full-board – breakfast, lunch and dinner are included and are available every day, even on weekends. Laundry and dry-cleaning services are available for personal clothes, as well as for bed linen and towels. The rooms and other facilites are cleaned daily. Reception is open between 09.00am and 11.00pm.
