Broughton house is surrounded by a Grade 1 listed park and contains displays of fine art, some of which was created for the French Royal Family, in the many rooms open to the public.
Boughton has been the home of the Montagus and their descendants since 1528, originally it was a Tudor manor though over the years it has been changed greatly. Conservation and restoration of the gardens and parts of the house are ongoing.
The Tearoom offers a range of home made lunches, cakes and light refreshments.
Many of the formal gardens have been lost over the last 300 years and, though undergoing restoration, the gardens do contain a Kitchen garden with a herbaceous border and a sensory garden that can be visited.
The gift shop has a selection of gifts, books, postcards, souvenirs and plants for sale.
