The Sprouston Beat extends to some 2.5 miles of double bank fishing and is split into two beats with fishing for two rods only.
Sprouston tenants alternate with Hendersyde, fishing the top and bottom beats in rotation. The top beat has nine excellent holding pools whilst the bottom beat has eight.
There are two boatmen/ghillies employed and there are first class fishing huts on both beats.
Weeks rarely become available but summer lets in June and July are often possible. Please note that during the summer tenants will be shown the water by a ghillie who will only be able to assist rods with the fishing if other duties permit. The use of boats is unlikely during this period.
The owner is a keen supporter of the Tweed Angling Code and Spring Conservation Measures, and consequently would encourage all tenants to follow these guidelines.
