Guests can choose from one of nine individually decorated guest rooms that make up the Heart of the Village Inn. It is the rare retreat that effortlessly balances Victorian ambiance with modern-day amenities and a signature, easy-going, common-sense innkeeping style, immediately putting their happy, respectful, modern, like-minded guests at ease.

Heart of the Village Inn guests will find themselves perfectly positioned in the historic Shelbourne, Vermont, making it easy for them to take full advantage of the many places of interest they can explore during their stay.

Guests are able to pay a $100 fee, should a late check-out option (11am-1pm) be available.

Heart of the Village Inn is located in the bustling center of a historic Shelburne Village (now known as the Town of Shelburne) and is accessible by plane, train, car, ferry, and public transportation.

Upon arrival, guests are asked to leave their luggage in their vehicles, as the entryway is very cozy and there may be multiple guests arriving around the same time. Depending on the location and size of the room, guests will be able to determine their luggage situation after checking in. Generally, the Inn recommend only bringing the essentials into the rooms and leaving large luggage pieces in the vehicle.

A valid ID / credit card will be required at check-in. For reservations made using an American Express card, a Visa or a MasterCard credit card must be presented at check-in for any stay-related incidentals and fees. A nominal $50 authorization hold will be placed on the card for validation purposes. It will be released after check-out provided no outstanding charges are due.
